We manage many Pay-Per-Click campaigns for various clients, some of whom are spending $5 – $10 per visitor to come to their website. It is a little like paying $5 for a person to walk into one’s store or office. For this amount, one would want a clean, bright, office and that the products and services to be organized and easy to locate. However, this logic is often lost when business owners develop a website.
We at Anduro do not develop websites. However, we can (and do) advise as to how to ensure that once we bring a visitor to a website we guide them to the right section of the website and get them to convert – to buy something, fill out a contact form, to download a whitepaper, etc. We call this service an Increasing Conversions Session. Some of the more common improvements we need to make on a website are to bring the Calls to Action front and center on the home page (above the fold) and we reduce the number of clicks it takes for visitors to find the meat and guts of a website. The Increasing Conversion Session doesn’t require a complete overhaul of a website. Normally, it is simply a matter of moving a few items around and reducing the amount of text and navigation.
