I met with someone today who has experienced not one but two bad experiences with SEO companies. Both took him for a wild ride – with him paying out large sums of money and getting little if anything tangible in return.
So what is the most important thing to be careful of when looking to hiring an online marketing company? If an SEO company tries to lure you in by offering guarantees then do not work with them. SEO companies can influence Google, but we cannot control Google. So anyone who tells you that they can guarantee you a #1 position in Google is either a liar or an idiot.
